Modern Interior Scene

I’ve started the search to find quality reference for my new project. I’m planning on designing and creating an interior scene, with a combination of retro and ultra modern styles.
Here is a collage of some of the images I am using for inspiration and reference for this new project.



Update
I have started work modeling some of the furniture and objects that I will use in the scene. Below are some images of my work in progress.

Been a while since I’ve added an update to my work in progress, as I’ve had allot of other stuff going on (such as work experience). Anyway I’m back to work on my room again.
Got my room setup in 3DS Max now and started adding some of the other features and furniture. Still a fair bit to do, but should get it done pretty soon now I have more time free to spend on it.

Over my xmas holidays Ive had more time to work on my project. Ive now modelled everthing to go in the room and have appied a test material to objects to help me setup the lighting before I continue on with adding materials and textures to everything in the scene. Heres some images showing the scene with different combinations of lights enabled.

Okay! All done, added the final touches to my scene and have started rendering out the final images. Check the Portfolio section to see how it all turned out.

NOTE:
When I next start a new large project I will move all old images to the Archive Galley.
Any small projects or peices of work I do, will be posted in the Journal.
